Played all the MH games, combat alone feels like monster hunter. everything else, doesn't. ai companions are weak and annoying, same for gacha characters in the party. ONLY ultimates do anything because you are unable to improve them fast enough as a f2p player. even on hardest monsters 70%+ of damage, that's a joke. at least focus on matchmaking and multiplayer. after playing for longer I can confirm the game is very p2w Gacha characters are just op in solo, resources limit for f2p even worse.

Perfectly average... The game has a couple of cute ideas, but it's gacha first and Monster Hunter second. Open World and exploration parts are basic. The armor system has been degraded to being artifacts like in other gacha, your main strength comes from a generic gacha power-level system. The unique designs for the gacha character's armor are mostly great, their moveset changes are interesting too. Monetisation is not the worst it couldve been. Controls are weird if you're used to MH games.

It was fun. Literally a smaller version of Monster Hunter Mainline games. is quick and easy to learn. Does require WI-FI so be minful of that. Also drains battery quickly but that's expected because of the high quality graphics. But the UI is absolutely chock full of clutter. There really is like ... too many buttons on the screen during monster hunts. Not to mention too much visual data that is the Damage Numbers. Extremely distracting. Wish that can be removed. But overall, very fun.
