Halloween fun with goofy, well-intentioned Marley the dog!
All summer and fall, Cassie, Daddy, and Baby Louie tend their garden with plenty of water and sunshine. When their round, orange pumpkin grows very big, Daddy snips it from the vine so they can take it to the fair.
It is too heavy to lift onto the truck, so Daddy brings out the ironing board to use as a ramp. Marley's family wants their giant pumpkin to win a prize at the fair. But on the big day, their silly dog sends the pumpkin on a wild ride instead!
Marley breaks free from his leash and takes a giant leap right onto the pumpkin! Soon the pumpkin rolls down the ramp and races down the street, crashing into trash cans and bouncing past a scooter with Daddy, Cassie, and Marley running right behind.
This Level Two I Can Read is geared toward kids who read on their own but still need a little help.
